Spermwhales are the biggest predators on Earth. These massive cetaceans feed mostly exclusively on squids deep in the abyss, holding their breath for more than an hour.

Females and juveniles live in pods in tropical waters like here in Dominica, while solitary males frequent tempered and cold waters, only joining sometimes the female pods to mate.

Romain took this picture representing a socialization of 10+ sperwhales. Nobody knows exactly the purpose, but the fact is spermwhales cuddle, strengthen bonds, remove patch of skins...

The diver is at the right position to offer us a scale and show us the size of these colossal marine mammals.
