Spinner dolphins use to range up and down the Pacific coast of Costa Rica especially in February and march. They travel in massive pods sometimes more than 10000. They look for lanternfish, the most numerous fish on Earth, coordinating to gather them in massive bait balls.
Romain took this picture in February 2022 while traveling by zodiac nearby a massive pod of spinners.
