CAPTION
The Antarctic peninsula is surprisingly rich in wildlife. Gentoo penguin is an iconic specie of the frozen continent.
These clumsy birds on land become torpedoes as soon as they get into the water. It's not rare to be surrounded by hundreds of these curious animals.
Romain took this picture at Port Charcot, a famous and magnificent bay where Charcot did a wintering in the 1900's. A gentoo penguins colony use to stay there during the austral summer.
Print on Hahnemühle fine art paper + white border.
The print is signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

This picture is among the finalists of the prestigious Oceanographic photograph of the year contest.
